Children learn how to say some words in Spanish, take a field trip to a shop where beautiful Guatemalan weavings are sold, visit a Salvadoran grocery store to buy chiles, tortillas, rice and other treats from Central American cuisine, learn how to make a decorative weaving and enjoy an animated Mayan folktale called The Chirimia.
